This PRINCE2 Foundation
course is an online program with the official
PRINCE2 Foundation exam taken by the candidate
at a time of their choice at an examination
site provided by Cynthus. The training
course is given in partnership with
Stichting Partners In Business, an
Accredited PRINCE2 Training
organization.
The Key element in the
PRINCE2 Foundation course is the PRINCE2
process model using the PRINCE2 Trigger Map.
Delegates will be shown how the model is setup,
how the different project activities and
project roles are linked together and how
PRINCE2 deals with exceptions that occur in any
kind of project. During the PRINCE2 Foundation
course delegates will learn how to set up a
project management organization that is
responsible for managing and planning the
project. Delegates will be taught how to define
the different project management roles to
guarantee that the project is run in a most
effective and efficient way. The method of
‘management by exception’ will play a crucial
role in handling project issues. At the end of
the course delegates can take the official
PRINCE2 Foundation exam.
If at a later
stage, delegates want to take the official
PRINCE2 Practitioner exam they will have to
have passed the PRINCE2 Foundation
exam.
Once
a delegate has been confirmed on a course they
will receive their login credentials and full
access to the comprehensive online
content. The course content is very
comprehensive and consists of a mix of
theory and practical exercises. Most of the
exercises will be done in interactive
online sessions.
